A research center consisting of three divisions: the Global Resilience Research Division, the Cross-Border Culture Research Division, and the Digital Social Structure and Transformation Research Division. Several projects are currently underway within these divisions.

This division approaches the formation of resilience in societies facing crises, exploring how they can find a way forward toward their desired state, as well as the potential applications and negative aspects, through interdisciplinary research that incorporates knowledge from the humanities and social sciences.

Literary studies have proposed the possibilities of humanity through the influences of history and science. The Cross-Border Culture Research Division aims to clarify the transformations of literature and culture and examine the role of the humanities in addressing global challenges, with the goal of overcoming a divided world through humanistic knowledge.

This division aims to develop research fields and revitalize local economies through a problem-solving approach to social issues, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and theories from economics, business administration, and data science, in close collaboration with industry, academia and government organizations.
